I first earned a bachelors degree in neuroscience and contemplated doing research, but then I realized I didn't want to be stuck in a basement lab all day (kudos to those that do) and that I liked talking to people. So I went off to and graduated from accelerated nursing program and knew I wanted to be a psychiatric nurse with the end goal of being a psychiatric nurse practitioner. I'm currently practicing as a psychiatric nurse and now in school earning my nurse practitioner certification. I love everything about the brain and behavior. I started this blog so I could express my passions and opinions about the world through the lens of psychology as I think it applies to all topics in some way.
I do not claim to be an expert in anything so I would love to be challenged in my opinions as I feel progress is truly made with dialogue and productive discourse. Opinions are my own and would love to hear yours!
